PAPA TUKUTUKU (KARAKA/KIKORANGI)

An A3 sized customised version of the sample black & white PAPA TUKUTUKU, created as one of 7 different colourways that are part of Te Wiki o Te Reo.

There is only 1 of each kind, with the vibrancy hoping to leave a long-lasting memory of what it feels like to speak and celebrate reo.

The board is karaka, and the pieces are kikorangi on one side, and pango on the other. By utilising the “x” shapes within the board, there are 3 colour combinations that can be used with the 117 pieces.

Each comes in a box with an information leaflet.

Given these were created from the original samples and are not representative of the full and final PAPA TUKUTUKU being released soon, these pieces can be quite rigid and less tactile. Please place pieces with caution, and blue tack is advised behind each “x” piece if the PAPA is intended to be hung up.
